How to take care of your dog?

1-Care :

Your dog needs impeccable hygiene for his balance and health. Bathing, brushing, cleaning of the eyes, ears, legs and glands, maintenance of teeth and nails, the care to be provided comes in different forms.

2-The bath :

From the age of three months, the puppy can bathe. To do this, the use of a specific shampoo and compresses to protect the ears is recommended. The dog scrambles on its own. Then, using a towel or hairdryer - set to the lowest power and kept at a safe distance - the drying should be immediate. To avoid knots, dry in the direction of the hairs. If the dog lives in an apartment, the bath is done once or twice a month. If, on the other hand, it is in the pavilion, twice a year is enough.

3-Brushing :

In the face of dirt and dead hair, brushing is essential. At each coat its rhythm! In fact, cleaning is weekly for short hairs, daily for long hairs.

4- Eyes, ears :

You have to clean the eyes with a cotton wool soaked in special lotion to purify the contour. As for the ears, between the risk of parasites, infections and hairs blocking the ear canals, they require special attention: place on a round-toe chive a cotton soaked in veterinary milk or a special wipe at the bottom, massage lightly. With a dry cotton, break the edges. The operations are repeated two to three times a week.

5-Paws :

For the legs, you must ensure that it has no hairs, pebbles or thorns between the toes (this prevents the formation of bulge and abscess).
The nails are treated with a suitable cutting clamp. To combat bad breath and tartar deposition, teeth should be brushed with a toothpaste specially designed for animals. If not, rub them with a baking soda compress.
Finally, if you see your dog squirming his butt against grass, it may mean that he has worms or glands engorged.

For worms, give them appropriate treatment. And to relieve congestion in the glands, compress the anus with a cotton pad. All of this care is of dual importance. First, prevent inflammation problems of the skin, mucous membranes and discharge of the eyes, nose, ears. Then, offer a privileged moment of communication that strengthens the animal's confidence in the master.
